  • Push notification tokens (to deliver notifications)

Payment Information:

  • Subscription status and purchase history (processed through Apple/Google)
  • We do not store credit card information - all payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Pactum service
  • Deliver your scheduled letters at the specified times
  • Send push notifications when letters are ready to open
  • Process subscription payments through our payment provider
  • Improve and optimize our app experience

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider with industry-standard encryption and secure hosting. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

Your letters are completely private and only accessible by you. We will never read, access, share, or sell your personal letters or data to third parties for marketing or any other purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and payment processing
  • Expo: Push notifications and app infrastructure

These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings, or by contacting us at austin@getpactum.com.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. When you delete your account, all your letters and personal data are permanently removed from our systems.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Cookies and Tracking

Our mobile app does not use cookies. We may use analytics tools to understand how you use the app to improve functionality and user experience. You can opt out of analytics through your device settings.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

Pactum is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe we have collected information from a child under the applicable age, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, within a reasonable timeframe.
